Barton dresses as a tramp, his partner playing “straight,” costumed in a pretty house gown. Her entrance is rather old style and fails to arouse interest in what is to come, but after the appearance of Barton, there is hardly a dull minute in the skit.
He does some capital dancing of the eccentric sort and clowning unlimited. Miss Ashley has several pretty musical numbers and altogether the offering delivered first-rate amusement.
One can but say that it pleased the audience, which, after all, is the chief aim.
