Lawrence and Edwards

The scene opens in a government pension office. The 18 minutes focuses on an old veteran's application for back pension. Lawrence makes a splendid lieutenant in uniform; tall, good looking, erect and with a perfect enunciation, while Edwards portrays the applicant, an aged Irishman who fought in the union ranks during the Civil War.
The dialogue is original from start to finish. The idea borders on recognizable but is a bit different than average. Edwards should improve as the turn goes along. They are ready for the big time now.
