The two nice looking young women do most of the work. Lewis does not appear until about halfway through the act, crashing through a skylight into the "boodwar" of the girls (Vassar students) who have just gotten out of bed. Before Lewis drops in the girls are chattering. The audience learns that Lillian Travers, in order to show her father a thing or two about self reliance, has borrowed $692.64. She has paid back $300 but is being hounded for the rest. As Lewis hangs from the ledge Lillie squares herself with the shark. The next minute Lewis is talking love to Lille and gossiping about a Vassar girl whose rich daddy is putting one over on her. He learns that she is the girl in question and reveals that her father is behind the "loan."
Billy Adams (Lewis) has Lillle take a trip in the air; the paper is offering a reward of $300 for nerve. They exit through the broken skylight, Billy telling the men to hold the machine steady so Lille can climb in. The ending is highly absurd and preposterous.
The audience does not seem to mind the inconsistencies at the end.
The trio has a pleasing stage appearance. The program might state what Lewis has done to receive all the billing. The idea isn't half bad, but the piece needs rewriting for better connections
