The Irishman is the backbone of the combination. He holds up the comedy end and in addition has a piano specialty which is funny. The straight man confines himself pretty completely to the business of "feeding," except in a song or two in which he supplies half of some fair harmony.
They have a quantity of talk, mostly pointed, and get away with a laughable finish in "one."
