Doc O'Neil, who has hair tinged with gray and who sports a red necktie, is another of the "nut single" species which has frequented the New York vaudeville houses. Doc is a combined Tinney-Fitzgibbon-Dooley-Tighe type, speaks fast and used a mountain of jokes. Doc said something when he wished he would grow as old as his jokes. O'Neil's style of funmaking was beneficial to the bill and though it looked like a frosty night for O'Neil he pulled up a strong comedy ballot.
